I’m just about as excited as my students for our spring break to start tomorrow. My kids have been informing me of their plans for our days off, and I have my own fun plans as well!
Although I want my students to have a blast during their break, I also want them to keep up with their reading. During breaks, it seems that their reading progress takes a few steps backwards rather than progressing.
I came up with an incentive for my students to be motivated to read over their break. On TeachersPayTeachers, I found a BINGO sheet full of reading challenges for my kiddos. If each of my students gets a bingo, we will have a “Game Day” afternoon after our break.
Grab one here!
There are a handful of BINGO sheets in the packet, and can be used with different classes and age-groups.
