All of you football fans out there, who are you rooting for? The Patriots or the Seahawks?? I’m going for the Seahawks! Not only are two of the players – Bobby Wagner and Robert Turbin, from Utah State, but I feel like they deserve to win, what with all of the rumors circulating about the Patriots and their cheating habits. Honestly, I’m not sure whether to believe them or not, but I think the Patriots have had their fair share of Superbowl rings.
With the Superbowl comes the hilarious commercials, awesome halftime show, and delicious food! I’m still on the fence about what I’m making, but I know for sure that I want to make a spinach artichoke dip. Stay posted for my aunt’s delicious recipe! I also am dying to make the infamous “Christmas crack.” This stuff is so addicting, and crazy delicious. Knock yourself out! You may need to loosen up your belt a little, too.
- 6 cups corn Chex Cereal
- 6 cups golden grahams cereal
- 2 cups coconut
- 2 cups sliced almonds
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- ¾ cup butter
- In a large bowl, mix Corn Chex cereal, golden grahams cereal, coconut, and almonds. Set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, combine the corn syrup, sugar and butter. Bring to a boil for two minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for about two minutes.
- Pour over the cereal mix and mix well until the cereal is coated. Spread on a cookie sheet to cool
